Recital e Workshop de Prabhat Samgiita

No dia 31 de julho Kirit apresentou um recital e nos dias 1 e 2 de agosto conduziu um workshop de Prabhat Samgiita. As atividades aconteceram na jágrti da Ananda Marga e a equipe de organizadores e colaboradores incluiu: Dada Japeshvarananda, Radhika Shakti, Manorainjan, Dada Pranadiptananda e Didi Advaeta.

Entre 60 e 70 pessoas participaram do recital. O workshop contou com cerca de 8 participantes.

A expectativa dos organizadores é de que em 2016 Kirit volte a realizar um programa no local por mais dias.

Concerto de canções devocionais

O concerto com Kirit em Curitiba aconteceu no dia 18 de julho, no Espaço Bella Vivenda. O tablista Rodrigo Pacheco, de Curitiba, fez o acompanhamento. A organização foi feita por Vishvanath.

Foi conseguido um local bem no centro da cidade (Bella Vivenda) e também estacionamento próximo para facilitar o acesso do público e ingresso com preço atraente para obter um número maior de participantes. A apresentação foi fantástica e a energia das canções provocou um impacto positivo muito grande nos participantes.

A professora de Yoga Áurea Silva relatou que o significado profundo das canções e a forma com que foram apresentadas a emocionaram muito. Ela disse que nunca sentiu algo tão forte espiritualmente em sua vida. Outro relato foi do representante comercial Marcos Eckert, que levou toda sua família para o evento. “Eu saí do local muito inspirado espiritualmente. Ter participado desse concerto fez um grande bem para nós.”

Workshop de meditação e recital com Kirit Dave

Em Chapecó Kirit conduziu um workshop de meditação nos dias 22 e 23 de julho e no dia 23 de julho à noite realizou um workshop de Prabhat Samgiita e um recital. O workshop de meditação ocorreu na UNOESC e as atividades no dia 23 à noite no Espaço Holístico Karuguah. As organizadoras do programa foram Ishthi e Ruchiira.

A expectativa das organizadoras é de realizar-se na cidade um programa mais extenso durante o tour 2016.

Feedbacks do workshop de meditação: 

Mais de 50 pessoas participaram. Conforme a organizadora: “Muitas pessoas ficaram interessadas no trabalho feito pelo Kirit. Com isso, começou a haver procura por grupos de meditação no final de semana. Como resultado, foi iniciado um novo grupo de meditação coletiva”.

A aceitação ao Kirit foi muito intensa. Foram vários pedidos para ingressarem no grupo para fazer as aulas online do curso de Astaunga Yoga com o Kirit.

Feedback do recital: 

As pessoas gostaram muito, e sempre tem alguém que fica com o coração muito tocado.

Prabhat Samgiita intensive training from July 13 to 21 in Pontal do Sul – PR conducted by instructor Kirit Dave.

 

Some highlights: 

  • 9 days duration with 18 attendees, 4 of them partially.
  • Participation of tabla player Ashesh Deva during all training, and of tabla player Rodrigo Fonseca on days 17 and 18.
  • Jiivanii Devii lead some activities including: demonstration and practice of some compositions and introductory class on harmonium.
  • Concert by Kirit and Ashesh and dinner on July 18 in the evening; open to the public. 27 people attended besides the training attendees.

 

Main topics covered:

  • Learning and vocal practice of Prabhat Samgiita, along with discipline of counting/observing tala.
  • Ragas Bhairavi and Desh and secondarily also raga Asavari, with exercises (swara vistara) and compositions on these three ragas.
  • Study of main talas found in Prabhat Samgiita: dadra, kaharva, bhajan theka, rupak and teentaal.
  • Basic concepts of Indian classical music, along with demonstrations and practice.
  • Introdution to harmonium.

Kirit conducted a workshop on July 10 to 12 at the Ananda Marga jágrti (spiritual center) and presented a recital on the evening of July 11 at Espaço Ánandam. The program was organized by Jyotiprakash and Parabhakti.

In the words of the organizers, “Feedback from attendees was 100% positive in relation to the Workshop and the Recital. All people were very inspired not only with the songs but also with Kirit’s speech and teachings. People became very inspired and we believe that, besides the musical aspect, in the next programs we should advertise the course contents including also meditation.” A person became so inspired with Kirit’s speech after a collective meditation that she decided to attend the workshop in Porto Alegre and, after that, also the intensive training at Pontal do Sul.

Workshop:

There were 16 participants. According to the organizers, “The event was flawless! All participants became very satisfied and inspired with the workshop, and many of them also became emotionally touched. At some points it was necessary to remind Kirit that some of the people were totally new, so that he would approach the contents from the basic principles. For example, explaining concepts like raga, tala, etc.”

2014 Tour

2014 Prabhat Samgiita Tour

The 5th Tour with Kirit Dave in Brazil happened from July 18 to August 10 and passed through following cities: (Click on a city to see details, pictures, available materials and audios.)

In the intensive training carried out in Pontal do Sul – PR some classes were conducted by Jiivanii, participant of the PS Movement since 2013 and the first musical instructor formed in Brazil under guidance of Kirit Dave. Tabla player Joaquin Olmedo accompanied Kirit throughout the whole Tour. Mahesh Deva and Mele Kealoha accompanied Kirit in the Tour doing the interpretation work.

2015 Prabhat Samgiita Tour

The 6th Tour with Kirit Dave in Brazil happened between July 10 and August 9 passing through following cities: (Click on a city to see details, pictures, available materials and audios.)

 

Some highlights: 

  • Instructor Kirit Dave went through 7 cities in 23 days leading concerts, recitals and workshops with emphasis on Prabhat Samgiita, one meditation workshop and one intensive training in Prabhat Samgiita with 9 days duration. (See the Tour details below.)
  • Tabla player and tabla instructor Ashesh Deva accompanied Kirit in the intensive training and in the program in Rio de Janeiro, also conducting the PS Movement’s first tabla training in Pontal do Sul – PR.
  • Tabla player Rodrigo Fonseca accompanied Kirit in the Curitiba concert and partially in the intensive training.
  • It’s the first time that the Tour went to Chapecó and Brasília, and people’s response was very good. They expressed their intention to have more days in the 2016 Tour!
